Priory Meats was established in 1978. The small premises where it all started was located on Church Road in Tranmere. Robert “Bob” Christian set out to create the best tasting sausages anywhere in the northwest of England. After he had perfected his sausage recipes, he set out to find customers who would enjoy his tasty creations. Bob Christians sausages and black pudding went on to be sold throughout the entire country.
Robert had a vision of becoming a major producer of fresh sausage and black pudding throughout the Northwest of England. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever imagine that his mouth watering creations would be enjoyed all over the UK!
